We recently completed our second home with Virginia. She was involved in this multi year project from plan selection through completion. Virginia worked with the builder, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers. She was involved in every aspect of design and construction. She accompanied us to Europe for furniture selection and assisted in the selection of art once construction was complete.
This was the second home that Virginia worked on for us and we would not think of building or designing a home without her assistance. She takes the time to determine our needs and preferences. Our home is truly a work of art and Virginia had the vision and skills to make our ideas reality. She works well with other professionals and often represented us in meetings. She has our complete confidence and I recommend her without reservation.

I went to Virginia without a clear idea of what we wanted. We knew we needed more comfortable seating in our living room, and wanted two overstuffed chairs with ottomans and a sofa, but we had no idea whether this would fit in our room. Virginia helped us choose the sofa and chairs that would fit, and she picked the fabrics to go with our family heirloom rug that we wanted to keep. After looking at the room, Virginia found an architectural chair for us to put beside our fireplace, and she even found a hand loomed throw to go over the chair in colors that helped tie everything together. When the furniture arrived, Virginia arranged it, and then helped us find lamps and side tables to complete the whole living room. She also suggested we change the paint color on the walls, which helped make the room seem warmer and cozier.
Virginia has a lot of great ideas, and she’s also sensitive to her clients’ preferences and quirks. We enjoyed working with her, and highly recommend her services.

Now that the interior decorating of my home is complete I wanted to thank you for the time and effort you invested in making our home beautiful and unique and for your “above and beyond” level of taste and attention to detail. I want you to know how much I appreciated your interfacing with the builder of my new home. You were involved in selecting the marble flooring, granite countertops and paint schemes throughout the house, which was critical in insuring that I did not make expensive mistakes and that the decorating theme of the house was consistent with the furnishings and art you suggested that I purchase. I was living 1200 miles away when my home was being constructed and you were my eyes and ears interfacing on a daily basis with the builder. I believe that the reason my estate home was delivered on time and per specifications was directly due to your involvement during the construction process.
Since I did not take any furnishings from my previous home, I started from scratch. Your ability to provide all of the services one would need to decorate and furnish a large home resulted in a gorgeous and consistent look that was accomplished in a minimum of time. Your deep knowledge in the selections shortened the time period to completion and minimized the stress of moving and decorating.

We communicated what we thought our home should look and feel like and you were able to translate our thoughts into reality. In addition to the selection of flooring and paint you assisted us in the purchase of furniture, area rugs, art, bedding, window treatments, lighting fixtures, decorative painting, custom closets, accessories, custom designed mirror and shutters. Your taste is exquisite and our home has both a comfortable homey feel that looks luxurious and special. Everything in my home fits together and all who have seen it feel immediately at home. The question everyone always asks is who the interior designer is.
